Hannah Toope
My name is Hannah Toope, I am a third year Graphic Design student at Mohawk College. I
wanted to reach out to you today to thank you for your generous donation to the students of
Mohawk College. I truly want you to know that I appreciate your support greatly and will never
forget the moment I was informed I was chosen for the award. I have been an art lover all my life
and found my calling here at Mohawk College, to be selected to receive this award tells me that I
am going down the right path in life.
I began my artistic journey as a child, constantly drawing and creating many different
things, like clay trinkets and paintings. It wasn’t until I attended the Mohawk College Art & Design
Foundations program that I realized this was what I’m meant to pursue in life. I have a passion for
design as a whole, but I really enjoy print/packaging, it is the field I plan to work in upon
graduation. Being in college for Graphic Design has been very eye opening in so many ways. I
have learned so much and I am excited to continue learning more, thanks to you.
Once again, I cannot stress enough that I want you to know how much this donation
means to me. I made the decision to give my schooling my all this semester even during hard
times and thanks to you, I am able to do it without too much financial worry. Being chosen for this
award has inspired me, and I hope that one day I am able to assist students the way you have
assisted me this semester.
Mursel Ahmadi

My name is Mursel Ahmadi, and I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at
Mohawk College. I chose this program because I am passionate about working with young
children and supporting their learning, growth, and well-being. My future goal is to become
a skilled Early Childhood Educator who can create meaningful learning experiences for
children and their families.

it offers a program I am deeply interested in—Practical Nursing. My goal is to become a
practical nurse and eventually a registered nurse so I can make a meaningful impact by

I am currently in my second semester of the Pre-Health Sciences program at Mohawk
College and plan to enroll in Practical Nursing next semester. This scholarship will help
cover essential costs like tuition, pre-placement requirements (vaccinations, tests,
police check), and necessary materials (scrubs, medical supplies, textbooks). Thanks
to you, I am one step closer to my goal of becoming a nurse.

I am currently in my fourth semester of the Early Childhood Education 213 at Mohawk College. After graduation, I plan to open my own daycare where I will manage all the things and engage with the parents and the children through in person meetings. This award will help me continue working toward that goal by easing some of the financial burdens of my education.
Thanks to your generosity, I can focus more on my studies and not worry as much about tuition and other expenses As I had some problems during my semester 2 so I could not do my practicum 2 so l will take that course after this intake, so l have to pay extra fee for that. This award helps me in getting my goal without taking any kind of stress. One day, I hope to give back and help others, just as you’ve helped me.
