King Oluwapelumi Adedokun
My name is King Oluwapelumi Adedokun, and I am attending Mohawk College because
it offers a program I am deeply interested in—Practical Nursing. My goal is to become a
practical nurse and eventually a registered nurse so I can make a meaningful impact by
helping others. I am writing to sincerely thank you for your generous donation to the
Marie Robbins Scholarship Fund. I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was
selected as the recipient.
I am currently in my second semester of the Pre-Health Sciences program at Mohawk
College and plan to enroll in Practical Nursing next semester. This scholarship will help
cover essential costs like tuition, pre-placement requirements (vaccinations, tests,
police check), and necessary materials (scrubs, medical supplies, textbooks). Thanks
to you, I am one step closer to my goal of becoming a nurse.
Receiving this award has helped reduce the financial barriers that come with a post-
secondary education. You have given me the ability to focus more on my studies, which
is the most important aspect of college. Your generosity has inspired me to help others

I am currently in my fourth semester of the Early Childhood Education 213 at Mohawk College. After graduation, I plan to open my own daycare where I will manage all the things and engage with the parents and the children through in person meetings. This award will help me continue working toward that goal by easing some of the financial burdens of my education.
Thanks to your generosity, I can focus more on my studies and not worry as much about tuition and other expenses As I had some problems during my semester 2 so I could not do my practicum 2 so l will take that course after this intake, so l have to pay extra fee for that. This award helps me in getting my goal without taking any kind of stress. One day, I hope to give back and help others, just as you’ve helped me.
